Sr. Software Engineer, EC2 Nitro Instance Networking

Job Description

Lead the development of networking systems for cloud computing at Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Instance Networking team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Linux operating system and low-level C development expertise

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for core networking infrastructure development
• Drive architectural decisions for network systems
• Lead development efforts in various technical domains
• Champion architectural improvements based on data
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decision-making
• Establish engineering best practices for innovation and excellence
