Software Engineer II - AI/ML, AWS Neuron

Job Description

Senior software engineer role in the Machine Learning Applications (ML Apps) team for AWS Neuron, responsible for development, enablement, and performance tuning of various ML model families.

Requirements

• 3+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#
• 3+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Fundamentals of Machine learning and deep learning models

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in building distributed inference support into PyTorch using XLA and the Neuron compiler
• Identify optimization opportunities through comparative analysis and benchmarking
• Develop and automate solutions to ensure accuracy of AI accelerators while optimizing performance
• Develop deep AI toolchains to simplify and abstract low-level AI accelerator modules
