Sr. Product Quality Engineer, Amazon Robotics

Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented engineer to join the Product Quality Engineering team, responsible for implementing Quality Engineering principles in NPI and sustaining products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer science or related engineering field
• 5+ years of experience in applying Quality Engineering principles like APQP, PPAP, DFX and FMEA in new product introduction
• Strong process improvement mindset for Agile environments, passion for quality
• Excellent business communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Able to operate in a highly ambiguous environment

Responsibilities

• Actively foster a culture of inclusion
• Engage in defining success criteria for early production builds in new programs
• Report quality status and risk mitigation in NPI Program Reviews
• Drive data-driven risk mitigation/strategy with cross-functional teams
• Define NPI quality deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Conduct failure analysis, root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions
• Facilitate action plans to drive improvements across the product lifecycle
