Constructability Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for talented individuals with data center technical knowledge and practical construction experience to drive standards in the delivery process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or a Construction related discipline
• 5+ years in Construction delivery
• 5+ years of data center technical knowledge coupled with commissioning experience
• In depth understanding of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
• Possess excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Global Constructability team, Design Engineering and Construction Management teams to ensure consistency of approach
• Drive practical constructability standards in design documentation
• Drive commissionability improvements in designs
• Optimize the engineering input post design completion
• Act as the initial point of escalation for complex constructability issues
