Facility Operations Center Engineer, DCC Communities

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a dynamic individual to join the Facility Operations Center (FOC) team to play a crucial role in monitoring critical facility infrastructure.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Command Control Center and/or relevant work experience in a critical facility environment
• 2+ years of Technical (Military/Trade School) training and/or experience or Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Analyze alarm monitoring systems, and follow escalation processes
• Review work requests from field technicians for compliance
• Create and document tickets
• Act as a key point of contact for onsite Data Center teams, offering support to optimize facility operations
• Maintain a solid understanding of critical facility infrastructure
• Execute vision and goals for the team or department
• Ability to support a 40-hour workweek, including weekends and holidays, as part of a fixed-shift schedule in our 24/7 operations environment
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, and/or holidays
