Systems Development Engineer, AWS Launch Wizard

Job Description

The AWS Launch Wizard team is focused on automating the provisioning of commercial software applications using Amazon Web Services. They aim to make AWS the best place to deploy enterprise applications in the Cloud by simplifying enterprise application provisioning.

Requirements

• 4+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby

Responsibilities

• Automating provisioning solutions for a diverse set of enterprise customers at the scale of Amazon Web Services
• Being a member of the operational team with on-call responsibilities
• Responding to customer issues, reviewing operational metrics, and improving operational excellence
