Job Description

Join World Wide Design Engineering to transform the future of global logistics by designing innovative fulfillment centers for Amazon's supply chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years Amazon experience
• 2+ years in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related
• Experience involving ownership/management of engineering design projects with Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
• Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
• Ability to travel 20%, including globally

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural and mechanical design of complex fulfillment center systems
• Create detailed design specifications for automated material handling equipment, packaging systems, and robotics solutions
• Develop and validate engineering calculations for system performance optimization
• Own multiple concurrent projects, serve as primary technical point of contact, and drive design reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver innovative and efficient solutions
• Identify opportunities for standardization and continuous improvement in design processes
• Ensure all designs meet building codes, safety regulations, and Amazon standards
