Job Description

Join the Kuiper Government Solutions team to design and develop embedded software for satellite and ground systems, supporting critical government initiatives and shaping the next generation of space-based communication systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) or Master’s Degree (M.S.) in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical field of study.
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience with real-time embedded software development, networking protocols, and hardware-software interaction
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Rust, Python
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in kernel context

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for satellite and ground terminal systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware-software interaction
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and uphold high software quality standards
• Debug and resolve complex hardware-software integration issues
• Implement and integrate software for data processing, device control, and networking protocols
