Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Process Development, Kuiper - Solar

Job Description

Project Kuiper is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the engineering team in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for efficient production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing engineering with emphasis on process development
• Expertise in Cpk/Capabilities analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and process optimization
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage development and optimization of manufacturing processes
• Conduct Cpk and capabilities analysis to improve yield and throughput
• Provide engineering support for manufacturing operations and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams for new product transitions
• Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations
