Software Development Engineer, Power Avionics - Test Development

Job Description

Join Project Kuiper's Power Avionics team to develop software for test systems for a Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation initiative providing broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent field
• Experience with setup and/or configuration and automation of lab equipment
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust

Responsibilities

• Develop software for automated hardware test execution in collaboration with design and operations teams
• Develop automation software for lab equipment and control of test chambers
• Support development and deployment of test systems for development, debugging, and production testing
• Provide operational support for software used in development and production testing
• Act as a technical leader/role model, instilling best practices across the full development lifecycle
