CAD Engineer, World Wide Design Engineering (WWDE)

Job Description

The WWDE CAD team is seeking a CAD Engineer to complement our team. This individual will be responsible for creating detailed and high-level drawings of warehouse design, material handling equipment, work areas, and fulfillment center storage solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other STEM field, or 5+ years Amazon experience
• 2+ years in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related experience
• Experience involving working with engineering design projects involving Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
• 3+ years of AutoCAD experience
• Experience working or interacting with Autodesk Revit

Responsibilities

• Work with ambiguous direction to create deliverables that standardize work spaces and designs across a large network of fulfillment operations
• Innovate with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics and mechatronics
• Collaboration with internal teams to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in short periods of time
• Manage multiple projects and tasks
