Job Description

Amazon is seeking an experienced software developer to join the People eXperience Technology (PXT) team. The role involves working on real-time analytics of data collected from IoT devices and web interfaces to manage employee time and pay globally.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Ensure highest quality for all deliverables using software engineering best practices
• Define and refine business and functional requirements with product managers
• Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of applications and systems at scale
• Contribute to project management and execution
• Own the delivery of integral pieces of a system or application
• Create and execute quality plans and test strategies
• Mentor and develop other engineers
