Senior System Development Engineer, Kumo ADC Operations

Job Description

Join Amazon Web Services team to build and operate systems on a massive scale, implementing innovative cloud computing solutions for U.S. Intelligence Community agencies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems
• 4+ years of systems development in an IT or data center environment
• 4+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment
• 2+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement
• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• Experience leading the design, build, and deployment of complex and performant software solutions in production
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Deep dive to root cause customer issues
• Investigate trending metrics
• Consult with top engineers at Amazon
• Discuss and innovate new approaches to automate operational issues
• Engage with AWS engineers worldwide to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot services
• Provide support to the U.S. Intelligence Community
