Data Center Deployment Support Engineer, Infrastructure Delivery

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring customer access to innovation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development or technical support experience
• Experience scripting in modern program languages
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

Responsibilities

• Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
• Work closely with internal customers on designs/solutions from concept to production
• Create and update network standards and ensure deployment to these standards
• Collaborate with automation teams to define scaling tools
• Work with partner teams on new hardware and deployment designs
• Travel within geographical work area, up to 20% travel outside traditional work area may be required
• Move and lift computer equipment up to 40lbs
