Sr. Security Engineer, Selling Partner Foundation Security

Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join the Selling Partner Service team. The ideal candidate will be a security technical expert with experience in technical leadership on large-scale systems.

Requirements

• BS/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in application security, product security, or systems security
• Strong technical understanding of OWASP Top 10 and application security concepts
• 5+ years of experience securing cloud services, preferably AWS
• A strong understanding of payments processing and financial services technologies

Responsibilities

• Identifying threats and vulnerabilities throughout Software Development Life Cycle
• Developing detection prototypes for security problems
• Working with service teams to address security problems
• Delivering metrics to show effectiveness of security initiatives
