Systems Development Engineer, Project Kuiper Enterprise Applications

Job Description

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network seeking a System Development Engineer to build highly-available software services using AWS and other Amazon technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

Responsibilities

• Design and develop performant software systems that meet the mission criteria and requirements
• Work with peer teams and customers to design suitable software systems
• Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build high-available software services
• Help on-board and mentor new team members
