Software Development Engineer II, Amazon Security

Job Description

Amazon Security is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to provide technical leadership and direction for the team responsible for the governance of AWS usage across Amazon's cloud footprint.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop systems and processes for operating the largest enterprise multi-account AWS footprint
• Implement preventive controls and guardrails within AWS accounts
• Architect for high availability, scalability, observability, and disaster recovery
• Evangelize cloud governance best practices
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams
• Mentor other engineers on the team and promote best practices
