System Development Engineer II, Kubernetes/Serverless

Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking a talented engineer skilled in integration for the expansion of EC2 container and serverless offerings to government customers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
• Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Discovering new ways to improve operations and develop new solutions for complex cloud issues at scale
• Proactively drive solutions to system variances affecting major services worldwide
• Optimizing the world's most advanced cloud computing infrastructure
• Designing and building operational scalability for the platform's growth
