Job Description

The Home & Lifestyle Innovation Tech (HLIT) team at Amazon Retail focuses on developing technology to optimize business operations and enhance customer experience across various categories.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large datasets

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using SQL, Python, and AWS big data technologies
• Optimize production operations including data delivery, infrastructure scalability, code deployments, bug fixes, and release management
• Establish and maintain best practices for data integration solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new data sources and deliver data
• Write and debug data processing and orchestration code following best coding standards
