Sr. Firmware Engineer, Amazon Robotics (AR)

Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented Firmware Development Engineer to design and develop controls for robotics systems and industrial automation equipment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience in design and development in embedded application programming and firmware board integration

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, simplify, and continuously improve system controls architecture
• Identify and implement system optimizations; debug internal and field issues
• Mentor and develop junior engineers in design and development best practices
• Contribute to value engineering of the system’s electrical and controls hardware components
