Interdisciplinary Systems Engineer, AWS Ground Station

Job Description

Join AWS Ground Station to be part of the next generation of satellite ground stations, redefining space-to-ground communication.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience supporting highly available environments, both locally and in the cloud.
• Experience across all aspects of satellite ground processing, networks and radio frequency spectrum.
• Experience deploying and operating a world-wide network of fully-articulating ground station antennas operating in S and X Bands.

Responsibilities

• Work with vendors and AWS engineering teams to implement the latest technologies.
• Deeply own the deployment, operation, and maintenance of antenna systems around the world.
• Identify gaps in functionality or capabilities and create solutions to solve them.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure customers' needs are met.
• Educate peers through mentorship and coaching.
