Satellite Test Engineer, Integrated Vehicle Testing

Job Description

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network with a mission to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities worldwide. They are seeking an experienced Satellite Test Engineer to lead Integrated Vehicle test campaigns and develop next-generation test infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or a related field
• 1+ years of hands-on testing experience
• 1+ years of experience in design and validation of hardware systems
• 1+ years of experience in a development environment
• 1+ years' experience developing and executing test plans for complex aerospace, automotive or consumer electronics systems
• Experience scripting or programming with Python, C

Responsibilities

• Develop, augment, and support integration and testing of components for spacecraft
• Collaborate with different teams to design test plans and execute them
• Own integration campaigns and ensure spacecraft readiness for launch
• Communicate across teams to address product risks and ensure mission success
• Develop complex test automation sequences and innovative hardware/processes to optimize testing capabilities
