Principal Software Engineer, Pricing & Promotions Science

Job Description

Amazon's Pricing & Promotions Science organization is seeking a Principal AI Software Engineer to lead the rapid experimentation & analytics science platform for the Generative AI era.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience programming in Python, Java, C++, or related language
• 5+ years experience in distributed software system architecture, design, and technical engineering leadership
• 5+ years experience in AWS technologies
• Experience leading multiple concurrent programs, projects and/or development teams in an Agile environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate requirements into an actionable platform & experimentation delivery roadmap
• Partner with product, engineering, and science teams within Pricing & Promotions
• Manage cross-functional and cross-org dependencies risks
• Lead the effective delivery of complex software systems & tools
• Establish mechanisms to stay up to date on latest scientific & technical advancements
• Foster an environment that promotes rapid experimentation and continuous learning
