Job Description

Amazon is seeking an experienced application security engineer to join the Application Security team, focusing on providing trustworthy customer experiences and protecting billions of lives globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP
• Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object-oriented language
• Extensive hands-on experience in application security or similar role

Responsibilities

• Application security reviews
• Secure architecture design
• Threat modeling
• Projects and research work as needed
• Security training and outreach to internal development teams
• Security guidance documentation
• Security metrics delivery and improvements
• Assistance with recruiting activities
