Senior Operations Engineer, AMZL Process Engineering

Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to support the Process Engineering team, driving end-to-end product delivery from inception to execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation
• Experience developing and designing equipment
• Experience managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systems
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Stations
• Work closely with partner teams in Engineering, Tech and Operations to build impactful products
• Identify new programs to onboard and integrate
• Lead execution of the product with high-level of discipline and engagement with the product development teams
• Present concepts, designs, program updates and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis
• Hold partner teams accountable for delivery of project roadmap
• Own a part of the vision of the next generation DS roadmap, including execution
• Drive a culture of innovation across the AMZL Strategic Planning and Process Engineering Org
