Software Development Engineer, Kuiper Government Solutions

Job Description

Design and build critical APIs and interfaces for the Project Kuiper initiative to provide broadband connectivity to unserved communities, focusing on US Government customers such as NASA and DoD.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Software defined networking experience

Responsibilities

• Interface with the Kuiper network team to develop APIs and enabling interface software for unique customer needs
• Lead internal and vendor teams in software and interface development
• Ensure systems meet performance needs and security requirements
• Communicate project health, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management teams
• Develop visualizations, document results, and share them across project teams
