Software Development Engineer III, AWS ElastiCache

Job Description

Join our team at AWS to work on building large-scale, distributed in-memory databases with sub-millisecond latency, powered by open source technologies like Redis, Memcached, and Amazon proprietary technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Solve challenging technical problems at every layer of the stack
• Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions
• Research implementations that deliver the best possible experiences for customers
• Build high-quality, highly available, always-on products
• Participate in design discussions, code review, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
