Operations Engineer II, MSP CX-DR

Job Description

The Ops Engineer Deployment & Ramp role in the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience organization at Amazon involves overseeing the deployment of MSP solutions, focusing on installation, commissioning, and performance ramp up.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer experience
• 2+ years of experience in infrastructure projects deployment and ramp
• 1+ years of program leadership experience
• Experience managing project portfolios and budgets
• Ability to travel frequently within the country and occasionally internationally
• Experience in interpreting mechanical, electrical diagrams, and controls logic
• Experience with procurement of equipment
• Experience in robotics, automation, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics
• Experience leading cross-functional teams/projects

Responsibilities

• Manage development of project plans and technical solutions
• Influence decisions on deployment and machine performance execution strategy
• Own tactical planning on installation of complex cross-functional projects
• Own strategy of program/product for annual planning of resources and budget
• Own communication of program execution and performance
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program and product managers, and internal customers
