Software Development Engineer, AWS Demand Planning

Job Description

The Demand Planning team at Amazon is looking for a Software Engineer to work on building software to forecast hardware needs for EC2, ensuring AWS customers always have enough computing capacity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with research scientists and business subject matter experts
• Building and maintaining a scalable planning platform
• Handling billions of time series data in real time
• Working with Scala, Java, Python, JavaScript, Lambda, DynamoDB, and other AWS services
