Systems Development Engineer, Grocery Robotics & Automation

Job Description

Amazon is looking for a Systems Development Engineer to work on developing and delivering automation systems for grocery applications.

Requirements

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience programming with modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
• 3+ years' experience with the designs of complex, automated technologies

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe work environment following standards and requirements
• Assess new 3P automation technology
• Support network installation of complex cross-functional projects
• Contribute to network and security discussions for robotics systems integration
• Conduct design reviews and support execution efforts between internal teams and outside vendors
• Deep dive into technical solutions involving advanced technology applications, robotic integration, and vendor commissioning
• Participate in the full system development life cycle
• Collaborate on system network design and support field activities
• Integrate systems for safety, security, stability, and efficiency
