Software Dev Engineer , New Products Team

Job Description

Join eero's new products team to design, develop, and maintain high-impact features for advanced Ethernet switching and gateway products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain high-impact features for eero Devices
• Keep eeroOS innovative and running at peak performance
• Develop applications and features in Golang, Python, C++, or Rust on eero's operating system
• Work closely with hardware to resolve low-level teething issues during bring-up and field deployments
• Lead and mentor junior engineers on projects
• Maintain and continuously improve the eeroOS operating system and build infrastructure
