Security Engineer, Devices and Services Security

Job Description

Join the Amazon Devices & Services Security team to protect Amazon consumer devices by performing low-level review of OS components, design and code reviews, implementing mitigations, and designing security tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP
• Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object oriented language
• 3+ years experience identifying security risks, vulnerabilities, or flaws in products and/or services

Responsibilities

• Identifying security flaws in shared services on Amazon devices
• Guiding businesses towards secure development
• Researching and developing tools to improve security posture at scale
• Providing technical security expertise to product teams
• Working with product engineers to create security mitigations
