Job Description

Amazon is seeking an engineer to design and develop mechanical and electromechanical systems for a wide range of applications within Amazon Manufacturing Services (AMS). This hands-on role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet Amazon's high standards for quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with prototyping, functional specifications, design verification, and test procedures
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and mechanical drawing standards
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical systems using CAD tools
• Lead technical discussions to refine requirements
• Create detailed engineering documentation
• Perform engineering analysis and execute test plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage concurrent projects
• Identify and analyze customer requirements and attain customer approval
• Produce design packages, oversee production requests, and facilitate design revisions
• Create final product documentation and deliver newly designed products
