Security Engineer, Devices and Services Security

Job Description

Join the Amazon Devices & Services Security team dedicated to protecting Amazon consumer devices by identifying security flaws, guiding secure development, proposing tools to improve security, providing technical expertise, and mitigating security risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP
• Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++, or similar object-oriented language
• 3+ years experience identifying security risks, vulnerabilities, or flaws in products and/or services

Responsibilities

• Identifying security flaws in shared services on Amazon devices
• Guiding Amazon businesses toward secure development
• Proposing, researching, and developing tools to improve security posture at scale
• Providing technical security expertise and consultation to product teams
• Identifying security risks and collaborating with product engineers to create mitigations
