Satellite Test Engineer, Integrated Vehicle Testing

Job Description

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network aiming to deliver fast, reliable internet globally. The Satellite Test Engineer will lead Integrated Vehicle test campaigns and optimize test processes for fully integrated satellites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on testing experience
• 2+ years of design and validation of hardware systems work experience
• 2+ years navigating a development environment
• 2+ years experience developing and executing test plans for complex aerospace, automotive or consumer electronics systems
• 1+ years of scripting or programming experience (Python, MATLAB, C, Labview)
• Solid understanding of Engineering and Testing fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Work on integration and testing of components for spacecraft
• Collaborate with avionics, payload, and software teams to design test plans and execute tests
• Own integration campaigns and ensure spacecraft readiness for launch
• Communicate with various teams to address product risks and ensure mission success
• Develop innovative hardware and processes to improve testing capabilities
