System Development Engineer II, Fulfillment Optimization

Job Description

Amazon.com is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to join a Fulfillment Optimization team that helps to deliver millions of packages to customers worldwide faster and cheaper each day, impacting billions of dollars each year.

Requirements

• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting of new and existing systems experience

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot documented issues and determine root cause
• Manage trouble tickets through to resolution or escalation
• Use technology to monitor security vulnerabilities and eliminate risks
• Participate in automating tasks to increase efficiencies
• Dive deeply into technical details, diagnose, and reproduce issues with Amazon technology products
• Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
