Systems Dev Engineer, Kuiper PAA Tx

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. As a Systems Engineer, you will work on phased array antenna system design, simulation, and optimization.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering with coursework in digital communication theory, RF/Microwave Engineering, etc.
• 3+ years of work experience in Aerospace/Semiconductor/Consumer Electronics industry
• Experience in DSP techniques, digital modulation, RF system design, etc.
• Experience with lab test equipment like VSAs, VSGs, VNAs, and Oscilloscopes
• Coding and scripting skills with Matlab/Python/C++
• Experience with simulation tools such as SystemVue, ADS, or LabView

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing phased array calibration systems, signals, processing, and algorithms
• Performance analysis and design trade-off studies of phased arrays
• End-to-end modeling, simulation, and analysis of baseband/RF/antenna systems
• Lab measurement and validation of antenna and phased array systems
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
