Antenna Engineer, Kuiper Antenna Test Infrastructure

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit with a mission to provide fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide.

Requirements

• BS degree in EE with RF and antenna coursework or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of antenna design related to 3G/4G technologies, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth products experience
• Experience with prototyping and implementation
• Professional experience in EM modeling, RF design, and MATLAB
• Experience with lab work, RF test equipment, and Automation of Test Equipment

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute tests of Payload phased array antennas and customer terminals
• Design new antenna test systems for beam pattern test and link verification
• Build and maintain Antenna Metrology lab
• Provide test systems and techniques for satellite hardware verification
• Integrate test automation and connect Responsible Engineers with test metrics
