Manufacturing System Development Engineer, Project Kuiper

Job Description

As a System Development Engineer at Project Kuiper, you will build and maintain systems and software that support the Manufacturing Integrated Satellite Test value stream.

Requirements

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software systems in support of manufacturing test
• Develop software packages to enable manufacturing engineers to automate processes
• Collaborate on critical reporting to drive production improvement
• Conduct root cause analysis and developing evidence-based solutions
• Apply disciplined measurement and statistical methods to verify software
• Develop and maintain robust testing infrastructure and verification processes
