App Engineer - TM1, Ops Finance - IPAT

Job Description

The role provides the perfect opportunity for a seasoned TM1/Planning Analytics developer or consultant to work on green fields projects and expand skills into data engineering with the AWS stack, Python and TMPy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics or other technical discipline
• 7+ years of relevant IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics experience
• Experience with writing SQL queries and stored procedures
• Proficiency with MS Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of financial solutions based on a wide array of technologies with TM1 at its core
• Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
• Continually improve reporting and analysis processes, automating self-service support for customers
• Collaborate with business users, development teams, and operation engineering teams to tackle business requirements
• Diagnose and resolve operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and suggest fixes
• Identify process improvement opportunities to drive innovation
