Job Description

Amazon is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join the team working on Smart Glasses technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience with coding in C/C++/Java
• Experience in embedded software design and development
• Experience with RTOS and embedded Linux development
• Experience in WiFi and Bluetooth technologies

Responsibilities

• System architecture and development of new features for embedded systems
• Investigate, prototype, and deliver new and innovative system solutions
• Design, develop, and verify firmware for embedded systems
• Participate in design reviews, API development, and documentation
• Work with new technologies vital to product development
• Deliver investigation plans, reports, architectural documents, design specs, software and firmware source code, build scripts
• Build expertise in core wireless technologies
• Perform tasks including debug, bring-up, Beta and production software development
• Collaborate with both software and hardware product teams
