Job Description

AWS is seeking a Security Engineer, Incident Response to lead security issue responses across the largest cloud provider globally, focusing on conducting security monitoring and response activities for the Amazon internal network.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent related field.
• 3 years of demonstrated experience in systems, network, and/or application security.
• 3 years experience on a Security team, especially coordinating responses to security incidents.
• Proficiency with one high-level programming or scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Leading the response to security issues across the largest cloud provider in the world.
• Conducting security monitoring and response activities for the Amazon internal network.
• Working in a global team environment with clear and accurate communication and collaboration on security issues.
• Thriving in high-pressure situations and thinking like both an attacker and defender.
