Sr. Embedded Software Development Engineer

Job Description

As a Sr. Embedded SW Engineer, you will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions for a variety of customer products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and optimize low-level Embedded Operating System components
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to deliver a robust OS
• Design and implement reliable components and tools to improve performance and stability for Amazon devices
• Experiment and prototype with novel technologies to enhance customer experience
• Mentor junior team members in career growth
