Senior Software Development Engineer , RDS Platform

Job Description

The AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) team in Austin, TX is looking for Software Development Engineers to help evolve the service and operate always-on databases in the AWS cloud.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across diverse teams, projects, and environments to impact the global customer base
• Solve challenging technical problems at every layer of the stack
• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions
• Research implementations to deliver the best possible customer experiences
