Job Description

Join the avionics development team for Project Kuiper, an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites providing broadband connectivity to underserved communities. Seeking an exceptional engineer with technical prowess to work on critical components for satellite systems.

Requirements

  • BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in hardware development across full product life cycle
  • Experience with PCB design, debugging, microprocessors, FPGAs, power supplies, and sensors
  • Experience with complex board designs, avionics, vehicle control systems, and motor & actuator control electronics
  • Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools

Responsibilities

  • Perform circuit design and analysis for satellite power and avionics subsystems
  • Lead design reviews of hardware systems
  • Develop bring-up test plans and qualification test plan development
  • Lead debug efforts for avionics and power subsystems
  • Support subsystem production ramp and system integration
  • Instill best practices across the full development lifecycle
