PCBA Manufacturing Test Engineer, Kuiper

Job Description

Amazon is seeking a PCBA Manufacturing Test Engineer to be a key member of the PCBA Manufacturing team responsible for deployment, qualification, and continuous improvement of test systems for Satellite PCBAs in Amazon's Project Kuiper initiative.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience deploying, using, and training others on the use of complex test systems
• Experience with Linux/scripting

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies and optimize test setup/processes at Contract Manufacturing sites
• Perform PCBA debug and root-cause failure analysis
• Collaborate with R&D and Test Development teams to improve test systems, software, and procedures
• Analyze data to identify failure trends and provide recommendations for improvement
• Train operators on test processes and support certification programs
• Run small teams to accomplish short-term objectives and strategic initiatives
