Job Description

The role involves strategic quality management and process optimization responsibilities with a focus on utilizing value stream mapping and run-at-rate studies to enhance automation system performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent field
Experience of working in Quality Engineering for industries like Tech, Medical, Automotive, or Aerospace
Ability to work and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Hands-on working experience with automation systems or other complex technology products
Experience in doing statistical data analysis, writing reports, and presenting to senior leadership

Responsibilities

Conducting value stream mapping to identify and address bottlenecks, enhancing overall process efficiency and throughput
Executing run-at-rate studies on automated systems to evaluate and validate machine performance metrics
Serving as the quality advocate during Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) sessions
Conducting Design of Experiments (DOE) on automation systems during the development phase to optimize performance
Contributing to total cost of ownership assessments to inform and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for technical issues
Developing and implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) to promote standardization across various technologies
