Job Description

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled data engineer to join their global fulfillment network team, focusing on solving complex problems in worldwide transportation using workflows, optimization algorithms, and machine learning systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL
• Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
• Experience mentoring team members on best practices

Responsibilities

• Solving problems of scale, improving existing services, and building new ones
• Working on deep and complex algorithms to enhance customer experience globally while optimizing network operations
