Software Development Engineer, IPC Simulation

Job Description

Amazon is looking for highly motivated software development engineers to work in the Supply Chain Optimization Technology organization. This role involves predicting inventory flows across the network for labor planning and AB test experimentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Work on one of the largest distributed systems in the world to support new use cases and design its future state
• Design, implement, test, write library code and own Monte Carlo Simulation system for Amazon Supply Chain
• Collaborate with software engineers, scientists, economists, and product managers to solve complex supply chain challenges
• Build key technology programs across the SimEx tool set
