Job Description

Seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain next-generation data infrastructure at AWS Applied AI Solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable data infrastructure for traditional analytics and modern AI/ML workflows
• Design data models and pipelines optimizing for AI readiness while maintaining traditional reporting capabilities
• Build robust ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and preparation
• Develop APIs and interfaces for AI agents to access enterprise data
• Implement vector databases and embedding storage solutions for AI applications
• Create data quality frameworks ensuring trust for human and AI consumers
• Establish metadata management systems for data discoverability
• Collaborate with data science and AI teams on infrastructure requirements
